Plant Controller Summary
Our client, a leading consumer products firm in the Loop, is currently seeking to hire an Plant Controller. This company is great to work for and offers great starting salary/benefits!


Plant Controller Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities and procedures relating to financial management, budget, cost accounting and/or inventory control.Supervise and participate in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.Direct the installation and maintenance of inventory reports, standard cost, and financial reports. Direct and participate in cost analyses and pricing studies.Prepare statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues.Establish system controls for new financial systems and develop procedures to improve existing systems.Review financial statements and reports with management personnel.Supervise month-end procedures and transmissions.Perform other miscellaneous projects and assignments as requested.

 

 

Essential Plant Controller Skills & Characteristics Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalentFour to ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
