Process Supervisor

Process Supervisor   § Provide leadership for the hourly PM people to ensure proper execution of existing PM plans/schedules and enhancement of PM’s deployed as needed.§ Provide leadership for hourly Maintenance Mechanics to promptly address mechanical issues and improve machine efficiencies.§ Prompt support to address machine failures§ Implementation Serve as a technical expert to oversee the efficient operation of the cup finishing machines and assorted packaging equipment (auto-baggers and case erectors)  of Root Cause Failure Analysis in problem solving§ Usage of SAP to properly determine lubrication schedules, preventive maintenance and predictive parts replacement§ Provide adequate training opportunities for hourly personnel in the areas of machine set up, troubleshooting and repair§ Performance management of all direct reports§ Age and lack of predictable run-ability of technology.  Lack of availability and organization of prints for machines.§ Must be able to collaborate with Production while addressing Maintenance department priorities.  § Demand is currently very close to the facility’s manufacturing capability.§ Efficiencies need to improve and this is a high priority for this role.§ Approximately 18 direct reports§ This position directly impacts the facility’s ability to  meet the it’s  OTIFNE, Units/EE, and Customer Complaint metrics. § Work Schedule:  6:30 – 4:00§ On Call Weekends/Evenings (as needed) Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
