This is an exceptional opportunity with one of San Diego’s established and most innovative Beauty and Bath Companies who is seeking a limited number of exceptional product development specialists for an Assistant Product Development Manager position in their beachside corporate offices. 

 

The successful candidate will need experience and a successful track record of strong product development for the Mass Market retailer (e.g. Kmart, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Costco, Grocery, Department Stores etc).  While experience in the bath and beauty area would be considered a plus it is not a requirement providing you DEFINITELY have been driving product development distributed through the large retail outlets.

The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to work with the Director of Marketing and Product Development to create new and sustain and improve current product lines. You will also manage, administer and track the new product development projects from start to completion.

 

You will be tasked with tracking the competition and be aware of industry trends and changes.  You will also need to be aware and identify any competitive threats as well as new marketing opportunities for this company’s product(s) lines.

 

This position offers a handsome base salary (based upon experience and track record) plus participation in a unique company bonus plan based upon company earnings plus your individual goal performance.  You also have a medical plan, vacation, paid holidays, and a generous 401 K retirement program.
