Title: Product Manager – Photobooks

 

Overview:

The Product Manager will be responsible for the growth of our photobook line.  To this end, he/she is responsible for all aspects of the photobook product line including the user interface and features of the bookmaker software, as well as, the features of the books themselves, pricing and ancillary products.  In addition, the Product Manager is charged with introducing new and innovative products and features that are consistent with our brand positioning, while maintaining the MyPublisher quality standards.

 

Responsibilities:Lead the development, planning, positioning and launch activities of MyPublisher products.Ensure launches are released on time and on budget.Maximize the sales of existing product lines while simultaneously working on new product design and innovation.Track photobook metrics including revenue, revenue per unit, promotions used, partnership revenue, product margin and other related financial and operating metrics.Gather competitive intelligence including products, pricing, features, UI, marketing etc. and market trends.P&L responsibilities

 

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred5+ years progressive marketing experience with a manufacturer of productsExperience with a minimum of 2 product launchesExperience with new product strategy and market researchCreative with the ability to drive projectsStrong technical acumen and basic understanding of software UIStrong initiative, self directed
