Roles of the Product Manager:   Propose, design, implement, and communicate marketing strategies and operations adapted to the local Market in a collaborative environment. The Product Manager is the foremost product expert on individual items and the category of products managing.  Champion of the Brand(s) he/she represents. Manages the new product creation process - from initiation to product launch. Primary point of contact across local team, International counterparts and the Partnership.Partners with and coordinates all marketing activities and communications leading up to launch with local partnership team. Communicates local business activities and future needs with the International Product Management Team.Champion cross-functional teams consisting of logistics, finance and sales to drive mutual goals.  Support sales as it relates to product needs (samples, pricing, attend meetings as needed) Development of a trade marketing approach, anticipating demand in a highly competitive market.Contributes to building the sales forecast, with the related consequences in terms of production, purchasing, inventory. Capacity to work with people with different constraints and objectives.Quality coordination – liaison between QC in factory and consumer service/ASSD  on customer enquiries and legal claims. Planning of sales-promotions activities in collaboration with “marketing support” and sales.  Preparation of marketing plans, collaboration in budget planning.
