Production Manager

JOB OBJECTIVE

 

Due to our growth, this position has been created.   We are seeking a driven, hands on

professional with the ability to interact with all levels of the company. The Production Manager develops and implements activities that promote safety, quality and production efficiency and that help to achieve productivity objectives.

 

 

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of approximately 100 employees in the Production and Pre-press Departments. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Qualified applicants should have:

Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university

5- 7 years of manufacturing management experience

Printing industry experience a plus.

Lean manufacturing and Kaizen experience.

OSHA and ISO 9001 knowledge

PC proficient in Microsoft Office products

Good interpersonal skills.

Self-directed and motivated

 

Must pass background check and drug screen.
