Production Supervisor

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

 

Masco Retail Cabinet Group formally Mill’s Pride, part of the Fortune 250 Masco family of companies, and one of America’s leading manufacturers of Kitchen and Bath Cabinets,  products has an excellent opportunity for four (4) Production Supervisor positions, at our facility in Waverly, OH. Must be available to work either Second or Third Shift.

 

This position reports to the Production Manager, and supervise 45 to 60 employees producing a variety of assembled and ready to assembled cabinetry products. Responsibilities include directing the activity of the assigned shift to ensure the production targets are achieved.

 

NATURE OF DUTIES:

 

Directs and controls multiple production operations with team members. Primary function is to supervise the production of quality products through optimizing the use of production team members.

 

· Produce high quality products through maximizing the use of all resources.

· Ensure attainment of planned production goals.

· Ensure all quality standards and process procedures are maintained.

· Control scrap generated during production.

· Involve the work force in developing improvements.

· Achieve cost improvement goals through optimizing labor productivity and expense control.

· Maintain and continuously improve areas, which impact on Team Member safety.

· Administer a progressive discipline program for Team Members in accordance with Company policy.

· Ensure that proper training is given to all employees.

· Develop and maintain key performance indicators.

· Ensure all paperwork is accurate and turned in daily.

· Ensure inventory transactions are correctly done on time and satisfy Company objectives.

· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

· Two to four year degree in a related field. (Preferred)

· High School Diploma or GED equivalent. (Minimum)

· Proven leadership skills.

· 2 - 4 years experience in a manufacturing facility.

· Possess good communications skills, verbal and written.

· Able to apply various numerical analytical problem-solving methods.

· Experience in the use of mainframe or personal computers.

· Must exhibit enthusiasm; maintain a positive attitude and a professional image.

 

 

The successful candidate possess a college degree in business or related field, preferred and three (3) to five (5) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
