Program Manager

We are currently recruiting for the position ofProgram Manager

 

The Program Manager ensures that activities are carried out in accordance with established specifications, schedules, and budgets; coordinates interdepartmental functions to support program objectives; and meets with program team members on a regular basis to review program status and plan future actions.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.  Manage quote process to ensure accurate and thorough RFQ response.  Work with quote team, customers and sales executives to resolve discrepancies in the RFQ. Coordinate the efforts of the functional departments, as required, to ensure that the programs are conducted in accordance with the requirements of sales orders and program objectives.  Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers/projects. Work with Director of Program Management to administer customer contracts. Work with other functional departments to solve problems, elevating unresolved issues to management. Create action lists and timelines per the NPI process and track programs from team meetings. Maintain program timeline, resources and milestone charts. Generate, maintain and publish reports on cost, margins and inventory levels. Advise management of program status on a regular basis.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

§         3-5 years experience in engineering, high volume production, purchasing, or finance; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

§         Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business preferred

 

§         Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of FDA requirements, preferred

 

§         Basic knowledge of finance, purchasing, and marketing functions

 

§         Proven proficiency in managing to timelines

 

§         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical publications and reports

 

§         Ability to clearly communicate and document communications both verbally and written

 

§         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions

 

§         Proficient with applied business and economic mathematics and analysis

 

§         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

 

§         Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions

 

§         Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Project for managing reports.

 

§         Fundamental understanding of RFQ process

 

§         Fundamental understanding of cost drivers in business
