Overview
1) The Project Leader/Manager is the accountable person at Monster for one of four key product development areas. They are responsible to develop the project team, maintain project schedules, staff the team and insure the project schedule is tracking to the plan. If the project is off plan they will be responsible to the team to identify root cause and work to drive to consensus on dates. Hold people accountable for the dates they have committed to the project team.
PROJECT/PRACTICE RELATED COMPETENCIES
Project /Practice Management
Creates and executes project plans in MS project and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities us MS project.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope in coordination with NPD, PAM, Sales, Marketing and Management teams.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
Effectively applies our SFPD II methodology and enforces MS project standards for time.
Prepares for project engagement reviews and provides continuous improvement to the NPD process.
Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Project Accounting
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Manages project budget.
Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The incumbent will form key relationships with:
• Head Monster – brainstorm new opportunities, discuss opportunities, threats and constraints associated with projects
• PAMs/MAMs – assess and address channel opportunities, channel strata and key customer requirements.
• MAMs/Sales Team – build accurate forecasting and inventory management plan
• Engineering – define product release requirements and guide action items and deliverables as it pertains to product design, engineering, projects management, specifications and quality assurance
• Finance – for proper profitability modeling, analysis, review and planning.
• Operations – develop potential costs and operating process for new categories and support existing products categories in the S&OP process
• Marketing – develop product launch plans, packaging, POP and ongoing promotions and product revitalization campaigns.
• M-Team – ensure ongoing pricing and product positioning accuracy and execution
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
• Project management experience
• Relevant product category experience preferred
