The Project Planner will assist in the administration and execution of all international operations that will contribute to meeting delivery performance goals set forth by adidas Golf and International Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate delivery of orders (inline, direct ship, samples, promo) on-time through expertise in connecting core functions (brands, Detps, individuals) in the supply chain
• Support informational needs with regular reporting on status of global business, and bring transparency to all logistics processes
• Coordinate all aspects of forecast and order process for tour athlete products (promo) in apparel, balancing on-time delivery with lowest possible cost to operate.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Global Marketing, sales subsidiaries, HQ Development and LO Merchandisers to maintain Buy Ready and CWA performance.
• Facilitate all aspects of forecast and order process for Preview Samples and Salesman Samples, with goal of 100% on-time delivery to HQ and reps.
• Identify potential capacity, quota or other problems resulting in late orders, and work with LO’s to recommend pull-forward, product transfer, or other strategies to ensure project objectives and timing requirements are met.
• Work closely with global Project Planning to enhance and improve planning systems, streamline workflow, provide training, and improve collaboration with all parties involved in the planning process.
• Act as Supply Chain Integration (SCI) Coordinator for the USA business
Requisite Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-3 years adidas apparel and footwear background
• Working knowledge of planning systems
• Knowledge of logistics’ computer applications, MS-Access, MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-PowerPoint.
• Must be analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
• Working knowledge of adidas systems (IB, SIM, RMS, and ILS) extremely helpful.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work Environment:
Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM-5 PM with overtime required during peak periods. Overseas and domestic travel is required as needed; overseas travel required up to 30% of the time.
