Founded in 1984, AHP has rapidly grown into one of the leading providers of corporate branded diapers in the United States.This growth required relocating in 2007 to a newly constructed state of the art manufacturing facility in Delaware, just 30 minutes north of Columbus, OH.

 

Purchasing Manager

Purchase a large assortment of electrical, electronic, mechanical, machine parts, MRO and supplies related to the manufacture of disposable baby diapers.

 

· Establish procedures for “best value” allocation of plant purchases

· Establish procedures to establish new suppliers and maintain valued suppliers

· Establish blanket PO’s for replenishment items

· Renew and re-bid contracts and blanket PO’s on a regular basis

· Establish and maintain a formal supplier selection & evaluation process

· Establish and maintain procedures for:

1. Ordering materials

2. Receiving purchases

3. Inventorying and accounting for receivables

4. Tracking sent out for rebuild

5. Tracking credit for rebuild turn-ins

· Process and approve PO’s, as authorized

· Forward for approval all PO’s above authorization limit

· Ensure the security of all stores

 

 

Qualifications:

4 year degree in Purchasing, Finance or related business field

CPM preferred

Experience in high volume purchasing system

Manage annual purchases over $1 million

Automated PO stocking and replenishing systems

 

Computer Skills:

PeopleSoft Accounting Software

Database Software

ADP-HRIS Human Resource systems

 

Inventory Management software

ADP Enterprise e-time Payroll systems

Microsoft Excel, Word
