QA Audit/Document Control Specialist - Southern California

Contract Manufacturer of personal care products located in Los Angeles is seeking a QA specialist to manage all audit and document control activities at the company.  This exciting position provides a great deal of responsibility and opportunity to the right candidate at a small and growing company.  This highly visible opportunity will enable the right candidate to make immediate contributions and influence operations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3 to 5 years prior experience in technical documentation for FDA regulated products, such as food, over-the-counter drugs, or cosmetics.

- Strong competencies in QA manufacturing protocols and standards (on-line inspection, line startup criteria, spec limit determination, incoming material inspections, finished goods releases, etc.)

- Familiar with preparing, organizing, and reviewing master records, MSDS's, fill & assembly specifications and related technical and FDA regulatory documentation.

- Must be computer literate, proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and familiar with MRP software.

- Willing to proactively meet deadlines for production startups and product launches.
