QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR (Bilingual in English & Mandarin Chinese)

We are looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in the Fontana, CA distribution center.  The ideal candidate will be a QA leader who wants to make an impact in a newly created position.

 

Your responsibilities will include the following:

 

·  Coordinate activities with quality control group in China to ensure that non-conforming product is not shipped to the U.S. market

 

·  Provide timely feedback to the vendors on quality related issues identified at the consumer level so that corrective actions can be proposed, evaluated, and approved as quickly as possible

 

·  Review prototype products, proposed product improvements, and vendor specification change requests to ensure that only good quality, safe product is received

 

·  Monitor consumer service activity levels and inventories to ensure timely shipment of warranty and purchased replacement parts

 

·  Review customer returns in order to identify root causes of consumer dissatisfaction and propose corrective actions to reduce the incidence of product returns

 

We require a Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing related discipline and the ability to read, write and speak Mandarin Chinese.  We prefer 3-5 years experience in quality control with a consumer products company including the ability to manage line inspectors remotely.  Some experience in electrical products, ISO 9000 documentation, product standards and testing of finished goods will be helpful.  Must be proficient with Word and Excel software programs.
