Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title:  Quality Assurance EngineerReports to: Operations DirectorEnvironmental Packaging Technologies, Ltd, the industry’s leader in innovative bulk packaging solutions has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Engineer in their corporate headquarters located in Houston, TX.Job Description:-  Overseeing the quality of all incoming materials, outsourced intermediates and contracted services.-  Responsible for the design, development, delivery and documentation of the training curriculums to ensure consistency with internal program goals.-  Coordinate and ensure smooth transitions and training orientation of employees and customers.-  Plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for production processes, materials, and products-  Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical-  Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data-  Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities

-  Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.

-  Manages Non-conforming material processes -  Develop complete product technical files-  Maintains Internal and External quality audits-  Develop and maintain GMP policies-  Develop and implement quality assurance standards, process and controlsJob Qualifications-  2-5 years manufacturing engineering or chemical environment-  4-6 years of hands on experience in product quality evaluation or control-  Strong presentation, analytical skills and ISO9000 knowledge desired.-  Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds-  Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently-  Good computer, database and spreadsheet skills; ability to learn new technology-  Knowledge of training tools, methods and best practices.-  Ability to travel-  Bilingual English/Spanish desirablePlease no phone calls, email only
