Quality Control Manager

Pacific Coast Producers, a leading private-label fruit processor headquartered in Lodi, CA, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee quality control operations at its fruit processing facility in Oroville, CA.

 

Responsibilities include, supervising lab personnel, performing processing studies to maximize plant efficiencies, collection and organization of samples for customers, reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and quality control is maintained; and the completion of distribution, sales, and production reports.  Must work closely with Plant Management and provide daily quality reviews to achieve set targets.

 

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.  Preferred candidates will have knowledge of fruit canning and processing, research and development, product grading and analytical testing, grade stacking, cook times and temperatures.  Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with proficiency in Word and Excel are a must.
