RELOCATION COORDINATOR
Decatur, Illinois

Make a significant difference in the lives of those relocating to a new location at the request of the Company. Ensure there is an ease in transition for the employees and their families by removing barriers, using critical thinking skills and executing strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Counsel and support our employees and their families throughout the relocation process
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the ADM relocation policies and procedures, understanding the policy intent
- Interpret the policies and provide solutions
- Manage exceptions to the relocation policy
- Coordinate available services to ease the transition and increase productivity of the individuals relocating
- Manage complex problems which arise, troubleshoot and provide effective solutions based on policy intent
- Accurate and timely expense management for expenses related to a domestic relocation or international household goods shipment
- Comprehend the critical data and decisions surrounding the home buyout and home inventory strategy
- Successfully interact with relocation vendors the Company engages, ensuring the positions of the Company and transferring employees are well represented
- Assess situations and avert problems by collecting data and controlling risk
- Analyze data and report trends and solutions to management

REQUIREMENTS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including superior listening skills and ability to successfully work with others over the telephone
- Ability to remain highly organized and detail focused in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
- Positive disposition with a strong customer focus
- Strong analytical and math skills
- A proven record of maintaining confidentiality
- Must be able to work independently
- Minimum of two to four years of related relocation experience
- Associates degree in business or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel, Word, Outlook and Access
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time, keyboard operations while working at a PC and ability to clearly communicate over the telephone and in person

PREFERENCES
- Bachelors degree in business, human resources or related field
- CRP preferred
- Relocation experience preferred
