JOB SUMMARY
Process Retail orders from order entry to invoicing while achieving and maintaining rapport with accounts and salesmen, maintaining consistency with division goals and objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive Retail account purchase orders via EDI, mail, fax, phone, email, phone, salesmen, web-form.Process accurate entry of orders within our system for processing, .Monitor all EDI orders received and invoices sent.Provide special reports reflecting status of purchase orders, stock status, sales, and account information.Remain current on changes in policies, procedures and product offerings and product information.Maintaining current knowledge of product line, pricing, delivery time, scheduling of product, forecasting, various marketing promotional services, and similar data as required.Allocating retail products to orders.Coordinate requests of the sales representatives and customers concerning orders and shipments. Coordinate customer truckload orders with Scheduling & Traffic.Work closely with other departments (Retail A/R, Traffic, MIS, Sales, Commercial Order Department, Scheduling) to ensure proper and timely deliverables.Maintain files of active orders, document activity such as purchase order changes, cancellations, and partial shipments.Create and maintain month-end reports regarding sales in units and dollars, distributor, merchants, forecasting.Participate in the QWG improvement process.Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent; Associates Degree or greater preferred; 1 year order entry experience; computer literate with experience using common database, spreadsheet, word processing applications; good attendance record; excellent communication skills, verbal and written; ability to be flexible to meet changes within department; demonstrated team player
