Regional Account Representative- DSD

Manage customer development activities in a specific geography for the sale of company branded products.
Provide leadership in the customer development approach through category management principles. Maintain small and mid sized key retail account contacts through trade calls and support Regional Business Manager in expanding both retail and distributor relationships.

Key Accountabilities:
* Collaborate with local RBM in developing an annual Business development Plan.
* Cultivate and develope new independent retail customers in specified geography.
* Cultivate and develope new small and mid-sized retail chains in specified geography.
* Develop Unilever Ice Cream business at existing small and mid-sized accounts using sound category management principles.
* assist local RBM in developing key distributor relationships in specified geography.
* assist local RBM in managing Unilever Ice Cream Freezer Management Assets in the marketplace to ensure a satisfactory return on investment.
* Provide support at local trade shows and customer events.
* Project to be in the field selling or with customers 75% of the time.
* Accountable for providing local RBM with monthly calendar, weekly activity report and on-going competitive updates.
* Accountable for meeting quarterly/annual targets and goals regarding business development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have Consumer Products Sales Experience
Must have DSD knowledge- understanding Go to Market and Off the Truck Delivery
Basic Computer knowledge ( Word, Power Point, E-mail)
Proven Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
High Level of self motivtion and personal accountability.
Relevant retail and or DSD sales exp in the ice cream industry a plus.
A Time management professional

Key Relationships
Key Competencies Ability to create fact based presentations and be persuasive.
Valid drivers license and good driving record.
Second language a plus ( Spanish)
