Working primarily from a referral generated lead pool, focuses on securing profitable Custom Home sales and upgrades to new ADT Residential customers. Demonstrates a keen understanding of the customer’s needs and delivers effective solutions. Maximizes customer satisfaction and improves customer retention by initiating post installation follow-ups. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Sell products to Custom Home Services' Accounts within an assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales quota and following established guidelines.2. Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques.3. Deliver the Model Sales Call presentation to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition; propose a solution.4. Adhere to current ADT policies, procedures, products, programs and services. 5. Follow up with prospects and customer ownership.6. Prepare final agreements for signatures.7. Process work orders and complete all related paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures, including SOX documentation.8. On the day of installation, complete meeting with ADT technicians and customer visit.9. Conduct post installation follow-up activities by contacting customer and ensuring commitments were met and obtaining referrals.10. Maintain customer retention by affirming customer satisfaction after the completion of both 6 and 12 months of service.11. Participate in regular ride-alongs and weekly meetings with Sales Manager, providing frequent updates. 12. Will interact with all levels - from executives to installers - while engaged in problem solving and handling situations that require conflict resolution.Requirements:Education: 4-year College degree in business administration, marketing, sales or other related field of discipline or equivalent Experience: • Has a proven successful track record in consumer/residential sales or related industries while working with large accounts. • Minimum 2 years of sales and sales management experience.• Is a passionate leader with a strong presence and recognition within a local community. • Has demonstrated success in handling high volume sales transactions, working with high-end customers and large bids over the last 4 years. • Has a proven track record in consultative selling and networking with others.
