Retail Account Executive (Fragrance)

Position Title:  Retail Account Executive (Sell Through)

Job # 1 Location:Texas (Multiple positions in Major Cities in Texas)

Job # 2 Location:   North Carolina (Multiple positions in major Citites in NC).

FLSA Classification:Exempt

 

Job Functions:

 

RETAIL SALES:

Ø Establish and achieve/exceed retail sales goals through personal selling, motivating and directing in store sales team

Ø Communicates with Regional Sales Manager on achievement of territory retail sales performance.

Ø Utilize by door business report to maximize sales growth

Ø Execute seasonal presentation and planning meetings with Store Managers, Area Sales

Ø Managers, and Fragrance Associates to communicate DFD objectives

Ø Focuses on maintaining the integrity of the actual on hand inventory vs. the computer inventory at the store level.

Ø Communicates effectively with Dual Account Executive on a daily/weekly basis to provide feedback regarding inventory levels, general business concerns: promotional execution, store activity, special events, execution of launches or visual week, etc. 

Ø Acively participates in account training sessions.

 

 

IN STORE PRESENCE:

Ø Develops strong relationships with all levels of store personnel

Ø Consistently provides product knowledge, brand and selling expertise via direct selling, motivating and training by example to Sales Associates, RSS's and SA's.

Ø Consistently schedules and executes all special events in assigned territory on a weekly basis.

Ø Consistently works with store visual staff to ensure all visual agreements have been implemented

Ø Consistently utilizes the Parlux container program to build basic business

Ø Ensures all counter, case presentation, and visuals reflects Parlux standards.

Ø Ensures all collateral, samples, testers and containers are available to use in-store.

Ø Relays all competitive activity to Sell-in  Account Executive and Regional Sales Manager.

Ø Responsible for recruiting, hiring and training of all Randstad RSS's and SA's.

Ø Manages, schedules and reviews planned goals and compares productivity to goals.

Ø  Manages RSS and SA seasonal budgets.




Essential Job Specifications and Competencies:

Ø Must have previous experience in the cosmetic, fragrance or fashion industry

Ø Must have existing relationship with Retail Department Stores

Ø Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ø Excellent negotiation and selling skills

Ø Ability to develop and maintain relationships

Ø Ability to Analyze business and proactively problem solve

Ø Ability to manage, train, and direct others

Ø Ability to set priorities and multi task

Ø Ability to take initiative and follow through

Ø Ability to work autonomously

Ø Ability to remain flexible in the ever-changing environment

Ø Minimum 2 Years Associates Degree or 2 Years of college or comparable business experience

Ø Customer Service Focused in delivering the highest levels of service

Ø Must have excellent multi tasking skills

Ø Strong sense of organization

Ø Excellent interpersonal, communications and writing skills

Ø Operate effectively in complex situations



 



Other Requirements



Ø Must be flexible and not afraid to do things out of the basic job description

Ø Positive, diplomatic and patient attitude when with  customers

Ø Fragrance experience, a plus

Ø Fluent in English or other languages are a plus

 

Schedule Requirements

This is a Tuesday through Saturday, in store sell through field position.

 

Physical Requirements

Most all of the time is spent  standing/walking in store, or driving to your stores within your territory. There is some requirement to lift or handle material or boxes of moderate weight (8-25 pounds) for in store delivery of supplies.

 

 Travel is required as you must visit all stores within your territory.
