Position Summary

Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, preliminary and post implementation cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with the global Finance organization business initiatives.  Leads the implementation of business process changes and subsequent change management.

 

Position Responsibilities

Executes and manages enhancement projects and provides production support for coworkers using Finance related systems.

Works with global business coworkers to improve their utility and derived benefit from the SAP global financial systems.  Includes developing descriptions of user needs, program functions, and business requirements necessary to enhance systems and business processes

Accountable for design and adherence to global standard processes and procedures.

Responsible for accuracy, preparation and testing of data, both for initial implementation and ongoing project support.

Responsible for working with the project teams to develop training plans.

Responsible for all configuration and support of SAP Financial System modules, globally, in support of financial, legal, and business requirements.

Financial systems liaison with other departments, divisions and organizations where necessary. This includes integration with the other Global Business Process Leaders.

Analyzes global user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing systems and / or processes. 

Applies standardized business/system processes throughout the enterprise. 

Prepares functional, system, and program specifications.

Evaluates and recommends improvements in operating business procedures consistent with best business practices.

Work with the regional and global Finance Directors and Controllers for improved global synergies between the respective parties.

 

Required Experience

1. Minimum of a four-year college degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study. 

2. Minimum of two years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience for a multi-national business.
