The Citrus Expertise Center is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of: The position is currently located in Safety Harbor, Florida and will transfer to our Lakeland, Florida facility by August 2008. This position will directly support the business development and technical activity related to the mission of the Citrus Center as a global Firmenich resource.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Job Responsibility:- Accountable to Flavor Creation Management for creating finished flavors using basic natural and/or synthetic flavor raw materials in response to customer requests and market trends.- Direct customer contact and interaction relative to project activity, product demonstrations and clients.- Provide training for both internal and external needs.- Global travel to provide creative support at Filials and /or Customers.- Interaction with the Design Team and R&D efforts on Innovations activities.- Provide technical guidance to junior level Flavorist.- Evaluates raw materials and assists QC in organoleptic evaluation of flavors that are manufactured. Profile- Bachelor Degree in Food Science- Minimum of 10+ years in creating winning flavors- Market success required- Must be able to travel as required (25%)- Must have a track record for working effectively in a team environment- Fluent in English.
