SUPERVISOR OF FINANCIAL REPORTING

 

Supervisor of Financial Reporting Provide supervision, motivation and training for one employee in the financial reporting function. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all International Financial Reporting Standards information and Total Expense Format reporting information for global reporting systems.Within the SAP R11 system, reconcile, adjust and tie-in the Management (COPA) and Profit Center Accounting reporting systems to Financial Reporting systems on a monthly basis. Provide information and reports as required by auditors.Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Operating Committee Meeting schedules including supporting analysis of changes in working capital components and logistics cost information. Ensure accurate and timely submission of miscellaneous financial reporting. Comply with the financial reporting requirements of various U.S. and Canadian government agencies. Ensure accurate & timely reconciliation of intercompany payables with affiliates including update of intercompany tools system. Work closely with the controlling department to insure that they are aware of any significant adjustments to earnings. Implement any new reporting systems.  Train direct staff and assist with training other Corporate Accounting staff on new systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years in public accounting and/or private sector areas with experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, and general accounting 3 years supervisory experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Certified Public Accountant preferred Knowledge and understanding of issues relevant to a manufacturing operation preferred Proficiency and knowledge of SAP preferredMicrosoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel
