POSITION: SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of five years of experience in a purchasing department with materials planning experience OR 5-10 years Production/Inventory Control experience to include materials planning. ERP system (preferably MS Dynamics), MS Office suite (Word, Excel, ) Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated success in working within cross-functional teams.



JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to partner and work cross-functionally with multiple levels of the organization to resolve issues and achieve goalsExcellent organization skills – ability to prioritize work and meet deadlinesStrong interpersonal and analytical skillsAmerican Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification is a plus



JOB RESPONSIBILITIESManage component supply, assembly, and inventory levels for multiple product lines, planning and purchasing for material requirements and ensuring flow of materials to the retail channelWork with new product development and/or production and manufacturing staff to understand build requirements and plan purchasing schedules and to ensure timely and accurate build schedules to support product rolloutsDevelop and enhance relationships with strategic and preferred suppliers and serve as a primary contact and foster positive and mutually beneficial relationship with suppliersKeep abreast of production statuses at multiple field locationsPurchase material, equipment, or supplies at the lowest cost consistent with required quality, quantity, and availabilityContact vendors to ensure on-time delivery or to resolve late delivery problemsManage phase-in/phase-out controls of inventoryMonitor and ensure on-time availability for retail inventory resets and POGsAnalyze the inventory control & material control efforts for the work unit: cycle counts, surplus and obsolete inventory disposition, material handling, inventory transaction processingControl the inventory levels and build schedules for refurbished product linesMaintain accurate delivery information in purchase orders to reflect current vendor shipping schedulesRun MRP and respond to action messagesProvide timely and accurate feedback to field sales as to current manufacturing product lead timesTravel Domestic and International, 15% or less
