General Description

 

Avalanche Publishing is looking for someone who is experienced in Sales Administration and Analysis to join our Strategic Sales Team. Our sales team works with national accounts that require a tremendous amount of support and detailed analysis. This position is located in our Cypress, California offices and will report to a Vice President of Sales. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:  Process Profit & Loss Statements for each account (Excel) Plan-o-grams – Work with sales, marketing and visual merchandising departments to create programs with images for presentations (Excel and/or Power Point) Update Presentations (template with data and images) for each key account, including sell-sheets as needed (Power Point)   Coordinate sample and presentation shipments for accounts (UPS Campus Ship) Review Key Account calls with V.P. to coordinate pending issues for completion. Analyze account histories and current account activities    Coordinate customized or proprietary merchandise (as needed)  in conjunction with marketing and product development Process New Vendor set-up forms and annual Vendor Updates Process Product/Item set-up forms Maintain weekly POS (Point of Sale), Sell-thru data and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) using key account web sites (i.e. Retail Link)   Create, maintain and update Key Account files.   Create, maintain and update rep list, rep files and contracts  Manage master sales status recap and track sales forecast and results Be able to perform other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience:Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Mathematics or 5+ years related experienceAdvanced computer skills including Word, experience preparing and maintaining spreadsheets (Excel), working with databases (pivot tables) and emphasis on statistical analysis, Internet savvySolid business knowledge, experience in consumers products a plusMust have strong written and verbal communication skills  Must be multi–task oriented and function well as a member of the team in a fast-paced sales environment
