Sales and Marketing Manager-CPG

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing and selling our business programs and Products.  I need someone who has either Trade/Customer marketing experience or Marketing Brand Management experience and has firm understanding of creation and execution of promotions and their funding.  this candidate will also need to have clear vision on sales strategies toward our customers. This out-of-the-box thinker will need to Provide business solutions via marketing strategies such as creative program development and partnership marketing.  The sales talents of same candidate will Drive revenue growth among existing client base through renewal contract sales and special projects in the future.  you must have strong sales and marketing successes from a cpg company to be considered for this high visibility opportunity.



 

Qualifications and Desired SkillsCollege degree.  MBA a plus. 5+ years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry either at an agency or in an in-house role such as brand management, brand public relations, consumer promotions or customer marketing.  Ideal candidate understands the key players in the industry and has a passion for the food products industry, in particular. Proven track record in business development and account management-sell the customerUnderstanding of CPG research principles and practices including familiarity with syndicated data Excellent professional presentation and writing skills Strong analytics capability Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Powerpoint and Excel Knowledge of CRM programs, particularly Salesforce a plus

Compensation based on experience with base salary and bonus commission program.  Good benefits and excellent working environment.  No relocation candidates considered.  Travel initially under 25%. This is a San Francisco-Bay area based opportunity.
