With more than 3,700 employees, Flint Hills Resources strives to create value for customers and society.The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a lead IT position responsible for maintaining and supporting Oracle financial applications for Flint Hills Resources and several other Koch affiliate companies. This role actively participates in a team environment and directs the work of other Business Systems Analysts in troubleshooting, issue resolution, customizations and application upgrades. By partnering closely with key business resources, this role is responsible for understanding business requirements and facilitating priorities. The role also works closely with various roles across the IT department.The Senior Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in the development of the financial application strategy and point of view. Responsibilities include:• Staying current on the capabilities of technology and understanding affects on the application;• Understanding the vendors direction for the application;• Reviewing and approving changes to ensure sound design and alignment with application vision;• Planning for application growth and the affects on application and application infrastructure.EOE M/F/D/V 2+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst  2+ years experience as a Software Developer/Analyst  Strong Knowledge of Analysis & Design Techniques Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life-cycle Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to adjust to the language of the audience Experience in support of accounting systems/processes of Oracle Financial Experience in supporting vendor developed software Education RequiredBachelors Degree from an accredited school;Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Math or related field preferred Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
