We are in the process of growing our supply chain department and are looking for an exceptionally talented, creative and motivated individual to make a major contribution to our success as a Senior Product Engineer.  A willingness to build and grow from this opportunity is essential.

 WHERE YOU FIT IN…

You’re a positive energetic individual who is self-motivated, have a strong love for toys, strong project management skills, and have a strong desire to learn from scratch the field of toy development as it relates to mechanical design. You will be working within the concept and development process to deliver the best possible product for a targeted price point. This entails coordinating efforts between Hong Kong engineers, sculptors, model makers, design engineers, and all relative personnel required to develop these specific models with their desired functions. Further, you will work with fellow product engineers in identifying and engineering new features and functions and modifying these functions so that they can be used in promotional products.

 

To be successful you will need the following skills are required:

 

·  Strong knowledge of plastic processing methods including: tooling, injection molding, blow molding, and rotocast molding, and all related plastics is required

·  A  very strong mechanical aptitude to review mechanical mechanisms and understand how they work and relate this understanding to specific toy functions is REQUIRED

·  Strong communication skills that will entail assisting the marketing department to work with clients on all technical issues

·  MUST HAVE strong understanding of mechanical design and how that can be related to mass production

·  Simple knowledge of electronics is also a benefit

·  Working experience with toy manufacturing a huge plus!

·  Knowledge of decoration processes (this includes painting, coatings, printing, silk screening, transfers, etc.) would be beneficial

·  5+ years experience in a related field

·  B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is required
