Relocation package and sponsorship applicable.SAP and FICO Team Overview: General Mills first implemented SAP for North American operations in 1993, and has kept current on SAP new modules and new releases of SAP software. Our current SAP environment includes the following major modules: ERP, HR, BW, PLM, SEM-BPS, APO, CFM, CRM, and SRM. General Mills international operations are on a second instance of SAP, and include most of these same modules.The FICO team supports SAP FI, COPA, CCA, PS, CFM (Treasury), Special Purpose Ledgers, Accounts Payable, Product Costing, and SEM BPS. We are looking for an experienced FICO analyst, especially product costing, that is interested in joining General Mills to help us expand the use of SAP tools and BI reporting. This analyst position will interact with all levels of the financial management team at General Mills including Supply Chain financial leadership in WHQ, plant financial management, Canada financial leadership team, Financial Shared Services, Tax, and Global Audit Services.Accountabilities & Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Supply Chain on KPI’s and COGS analysis tools to help drive holistic margin management objectives and business value. • Design SAP Portal reporting applications that leverage business data in our SAP BW • Expand our financial budget and forecast applications to incorporate more driver based budget concepts for improved product and channel profitability reporting • Provide “hands on” technical assistance with other team members on both support and project work. • Participate in the General Mills IS organization career leadership programs, build relationships with the other IS colleagues, and help us build our organizations mission of delivering business value to our business partners. • Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications: • B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting, or in Computer Science/Information Systems. • Minimum 3-5 years SAP FICO experience and demonstrated collaboration across the organization for application strategy, design, development, implementation, and support. • Configuration skills in some of the FICO modules (FI, CO, PC, PS, COPA, SAP business process costing, AP), and an interest in developing SAP BI reporting skills • Strong problem solving & analytical skills. • SAP technical skills and ability to effectively communicate systems issues with GMI finance professionals. • Results oriented, and a track record for solving business problems with SAP’s solution frameworkPreferred Experience/Skills: • MBA degree in Management Information Systems, and CPA or CMA certification. • Experience with SAP intercompany and multiple currency functionality for production sourcing, sales and inventory transactions. • SAP BW project experience (Bex reporting, BW Web Application Development, BW Portal).
