Shipping Manager

Orange Clothing Co., a young men’s clothing company with offices in Miami, China and Bangladesh, is looking for a Shipping Manager for its Miami office. This position requires an energetic person with excellent communication, organization and multi-tasking skills.  A candidate with apparel experience is desired, but not required.  Individual must be a fast learner and able to grasp and understand new concepts and procedures quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include: •      Importing goods from Asia and South America •      Ship goods from LA and Miami to major retailers •      EDI Experience with Wal-Mart, Target, JCP, Dillard’s, K-Mart and Macy’s REQUIRED•     Quoting shipping and warehouse rates •     Arranging shipping schedules from Asia and South America•     Running Inventory reports

·         Manage the shipping department of 2 to 3 people

 

 

Qualifications: •     Minimum 5 years experience in shipping and importing •     Experience in EDI and related software•     Proficiency in Microsoft office Excel, Outlook and Word•     Experience in the apparel industry
