SKIN HEALTH ADVISORWe have a FULL-TIME opening in Goleta for a Skin Health Advisor (cosmetics specialist). The new skin health department features product lines by Vichy, La Roche-Posay, Dermablend, Lierac and Avene. The advisor will have full responsibility for ensuring the success of these lines in the store. Each vendor offers training and on going support. Longs Drugs offers a great work environment, competitive pay plus benefits & a very generous employee discount. As an Advisor in our Skin Care Center you will: Assist customers with complimentary skincare consultations and a comprehensive product selection.  Use a skin care analysis device to assess customers skin care needs and design a personalized regimen Use product knowledge and selection to provide exceptional service to customers and build your sales Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases, suggest new merchandise, and remind them of upcoming events Perform merchandising tasks, such as stock, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, and transfers Effectively manage vendor relationships; maximize vendor appointments, and vendor support Coordinate a branded event calendar to rotate brand support on a monthly basis  The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of retail experience with a focus on cosmetics or skin care. Plus: Driven to deliver superior service by exceeding customer expectations Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and co-workers Able to work well as a team player in a fast-paced, energetic environment Strong organizational and follow-up skills Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills Presents a professional image which inspires confidence in the customer to purchase skin care products  Apply online at www.longs.com, follow the company info then careers link and apply to the "Cosmetics/Skin Health Advisor - Goleta" job posting.
