Job summary: Fast growing, entrepreneurial company that markets health foods for the diabetes, weight management and fitness markets is looking for an Inside Sales Rep in the St. Louis, Missouri area.  We are looking for a candidate with 1-2 years Business to Business sales experience.  Experience in selling to medical, fitness centers and specialty health food retailers a plus. Company and job ideal for a high energy, goal-driven individual looking to play a key role in the sales organization of a high growth company. Company located in attractive Westport complex in St. Louis. Competitive compensation and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities: Prospect, sell and service the following specialty markets

a.  Physician businesses that provide weight/diet, diabetes management, fitness and nutrition products and services

b. Independent pharmacies

c.  Internet retailers of diabetes, weight loss, fitness nutrition productsAcquire customers byCalling leads generated from tradeshows, referrals, in-bound calls etc.Internet base lead generationGrow revenues from existing customers through extensive follow-up, relationship management, retention and account managementAnalyze current accounts and develop plans to further execute sales strategies. Evaluate current account sales, trends to ensure volume and financial objectives are met.Provide customer service to incoming inquiries/calls/emailsMaintain a highly organized contact, account management system

Experience and Skills Required:Proven business to business sales experience. Experience selling nutritional products to physicians/health care professionals or specialty retail channels such as diabetes centers, weight loss clinics, wellness centers, fitness centers, etc. is a plus. Also sales experience related to health products (nutrition bars, foods, supplements, etc.) and services is desired.Strong phone and email based customer contact and sales skills.Demonstrated relationship development and account management skillsAbility to multi-task/juggle competing and often changing priorities, roles and approaches

Desirable (experience) to haveSales or account management experience in health products to consumers and healthcare professionalsExperience using ACT or similar contact management software
