PRINCIPAL SAP ANALYST (APO)  Callaway Golf is completing their SAP R/3 upgrade to ECC6.0 and is aggressively pursuing experts to help lead and build the next generation of SAP delivered applications in Advanced Planning Optimization (APO) and Supply Relation Management (SRM). The Sr. Principal SAP (APO) Analyst will lead efforts for the global APO implementation of Demand Planning (DP), Available to Promise, and Supply Network Planning (SNP).  Responsible for leading research and analysis efforts to identify business requirements, and translate them into effective systems design in such a way that they may be effectively modeled and configured within the SAP landscape.  This role will utilize business and systems expertise to identify new or improved business processes, and evaluates them for adoption into the SAP environment.  Will provide ongoing consultative services to both business & IT partners. **Please note this position is based out of our company headquarters location in San Diego, CA.  There is no travel required, but relocation will be necessary if not currently in the area.Relocation support available.  Will consider H1B transfers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·  Translates business requirements into technical system solutions which enable and enhance business processes and satisfy business needs ·  Prepares technical project assessments/estimates, resource requirement estimates, and cost/benefit analysis in support of the corporate IT governance process·  Leads prototyping and scoping meetings during project definition phase·  Responsible for project solution design, prototypes, and participation in project execution in support of the IT software development lifecycle process·  Leads the solution/systems design sign-off process with the business units and IT ·  Evaluates and communicates impact to the Business units for system and process changes Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:·  Expert cross functional supply chain knowledge of the new product introduction, sourcing, production and supply planning, order management, and demand planning processes and understanding of how to apply and implement systems supporting these processes within an SAP, APO, and extended technologies environment·  Must be able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously·  Strong knowledge in creating systems process flows and design documents and facilitating design review and sign off sessions·  Strong resource management skillEducation and/or Experience:·  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related business discipline·  APICS, CSCP certification desirable·  Minimum of 7 years software development and support experience is required· Minimum 5 years of SAP APO configuration experience with at least 3 of those in a lead role·  Experience with several of the following SAP modules: SD, BW,MM, PP·  Experience in conducting large scale project requirements and design sessions with business unitsApply Now!
