Supervisor, Deductions - Consumer

Supervise retail deductions process with internal and external customers.  Supervise team to ensure unauthorized deductions are collected in a timely manner.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   1. Ensures customers deductions, overpayments and payments on account are appropriately researched and resolved according to departmental goals.  2. Reports to the retail sales team any deductions taken by customers that do not adhere to company policies and procedures. 3. Ensures unauthorized deductions/rebills are collected in a timely manner as identified in published departmental goals.  4. Provide leadership, training and mentoring to the deduction staff, including developing annual performance goals and delivering performance reviews   Other Duties and Responsibilities:   1. Responds to escalated issues from customers, sales representatives, internal customers and management. 2. Implement procedures, policies and enhancements necessary to achieve a high level of customer and employee satisfaction along with company profitability. 3. Establishes and maintains departmental policies and procedures that ensure prompt, professional and accurate completion of workflow and objectives.  4. Provide deduction status and performance results to upper management. 5. Recruit, hire, train and manage the ongoing performance of Retail Sales Administration staff to ensure achievement of corporate goals and compliance with company policies and procedures 6. Establish team meetings to ensure open lines of communication, set weekly goals, and discuss challenges and opportunities. *Will perform other duties as assigned. BS/BA degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.  Proficient user in Microsoft Office Suite.  SAP experience desired as well as BW/BI reporting.  Knowledge of trade fund management programs.  Excellent communication, managerial, leadership and problem-solving skills.  Ability to train, supervise and motivate others.  Sales and/or deduction experience in the CPG industry a preferred.  Willingness to travel as necessary.
