this professional will assist in providing broad financial analysis and business knowledge to identify and resolve issues and pursue opportunities.this professional will assist in the design, development and implementation of standard costing for both company and pa as well as explanation of variances. conduct complex technical analysis to report on future and current financial performance, including analyses on budgets, forecasts, operating results, business plans and investment opportunities.  actively participates in and may lead continuous improvement initiatives and updating of budgeting and forecasting policies and procedures. assist in the development and integration of new data systems / tools to help the company manage the business.

 

essential functions / responsibilities:

+  develop and implement standard costing capabilities for both glaceau and powerade

+  participate in the sap implementation

+  monitor and provide explanations for variances

+  develop investment analysis, pv, npv, cash flow, roi…

+  monthly/quarterly business review and analysis against plans

+  ability to create financial proposals, scenarios and forecasts for new business and investment initiatives

+  work across functional areas (operations, supply chain whitestone and atlanta…) to monitor and challenge activities and spending against plan

+  special projects (i.e. process improvement, …)

 

technical requirements:

+  strong system & financial model development

+  strong technical accounting/finance and pc skills, especially ms excel modeling skills and sap

 

qualifications & desired skill sets:

+  bs/ba degree in accounting, finance or economics, mba preferred

+  7+ years of progressive financial planning & analysis experience with a consumer products company desirable

+  accuracy & detail oriented, organized, self-starter with strong business analytical skills

+  detailed knowledge of key business data models such as sales, inventory, manufacturing, promotions, etc.

+  ability to participate and contribute in a team environment, and to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results

+  ability to manage simultaneous projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is key
