SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Our client has engaged us to assist them in finding a strong Supply Chain Manager for their manufacturing and distribution operations located in Clarence, NY. They are an international company that ahs been in business for more than 25 years. 

 

The candidate we seek will report to the VP- Operations and will be a key player in helping to take the company to the next step in operational effectiveness and performance.  Bringing both an operational and strategic focus to the position, we are seeking candidates that bring a college degree along with a strong background in Lean manufacturing principles and MRP systems.

 

You will lead and manage a staff of 4 buyers and 4 receiving/stock employees ensuring operational objectives are met through you and your team’s efforts.  You will develop plans and strategies to help reduce and minimize purchased component inventory while balancing the requirements to support production.   You will also play a visible role in helping to identify opportunities to reduce costs through vendor selection and negotiations.  Finally, through implementing robust supply chain disciplines, you will help lead the team to achieving excellence and results.

 

The selected candidate will enjoy a very competitive base salary and bonus that will put the compensation level of this position in the $80k range along with a comprehensive benefits package.
