Deluxe Digital Studios (DDS) is a leading supplier of DVD, Blu-ray, and digital distribution post production services, including subtitling and localization, video compression, encoding, authoring, menu design, bonus content production, and network services. DDS is a global company with presence in 6 countries. Our clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of on-line retailers.

 

Primary Job Duties

 

· Provide in-house hardware, software and connectivity support to corporate and production users.

· Provide in-house support for different brands of switches and routers

· Accurately document trouble descriptions and problem resolution.

· Will utilize NT/2000/XP/2003, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, and networking configuration. 

· Will draw upon technical knowledge to maintain SLA for quality of service and timeliness in problem resolution to ensure maximum end user and production up-time.

· Must utilize communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with CSC, Technical Services and end users. 

· Must manage time to ensure completion of project assignments on time and within budget.

· Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 Minimum: BA in Computer Science and or Equivalent Certifications/Experience.Minimum of 4 years experience in a high volume, 24x7 environment.3 to 5 years experience required with networking, active directory.Excellent switching skills: IOS, VLANs, Spanning tree.2 to 3 years experience required with Phone Systems (install and configure).2 to 3 years experience with Unix and Linux environment.Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
