Location: St Louis, MO 63146 Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Expected Duration: 2+ to 5 Years Pay Rate: Excellent benefits for hourly or salaried consultant St Louis company is looking for a Technical Writer to translate communication network technical concepts into clear, concise, well-written and/or well-designed web pages, process documents, network diagrams, and graphics, including promotional materials. Primary Responsibilities1) Work with infrastructure or system design, installation, and support personnel to create clear, standard, and consistent deliverables2) Help maintain department websites to produce pages that convey department services in standard, readable format while using creativity and adhering to change controls3) Gather requirements on information needs within department and between areas to provide communication solutions4) Develop and maintain standard templates for consistent use within team and by other department members   Required General Skills1) Creativity in envisioning solutions2) Excellent grammar and spelling skills3) Ability to keep pace in multitask environmentRequired Technical Skills1) Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer - Expert with 3 year(s) experience.Expertise with AutoCAD and Visio; MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional2) Developer-Web Content - Expert with 3 year(s) experience.Expertise with Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks; proficiency with Adobe PhotoShop; familiarity with MS SharePoint
