Position Summary:
Verify and account for al safety rules and regulations in his area. Lead and Participate in all activities related to problem solving, equipment failure and quality deviations. Communicate with Shift Supervisor, Maintenance personnel (and next) as well as Operations Manager to suggest, implement and follow through with action s to counteract losses.
Responsibilities:
Verify and account for al safety rules and regulations in his area. Lead and Participate in all activities related to problem solving, equipment failure and quality deviations. Communicate with Shift Supervisor, Maintenance personnel (and next) as well as Operations Manager to suggest, implement and follow through with action s to counteract losses. Verify the need for material, resources and actions required during his shift and beyond. Provide coaching for mechanics, operators and staff personnel in TPM principles as well as relay proper accountability. Provide feedback and suggestions to the Supervisor and Manager on related behaviors in the work area. Verify that all operators provide and maintain up to date all indicators on boards for each module as well as analyze tendencies. Verify that cleaning standards are completed (daily and monthly). Guarantee that anomalies are identified (F tags). Verify F tag completion and follow through (information up to date). Verify that OPL targets are met, registered and knowledge is transferred. Verify that 5 s is maintained in each module. Utilize self assessments as a follow up tool for follow up. Verify and guarantee that action plan in line meetings are met. Verify that information in loss tree is provided correctly. Inform of changes made to production schedule or SKU changes. Promote teamwork. Monitor OEE, Absenteeism, quality requirements are met, GMP and environmental standards. Implementation of SMED procedures to reduce changeover time. Other upon request.
Education:
Graduated from University in Mechanical/Safety/Quality/Industrial/logistics field
Other Requirements:
3 years experience in leadership role related to manufacturing3 years Experience, leading more than 100 employees (both maintenance and operations) in manufacturing plants dedicated to mass consumer products. Experience in leadership and implementation of production programs. Must be able to prove results delivered from a substantial change management experience.Must be an experienced coach, breakthrough thinker and able to develop self and others. Should create action not debate in his actions and highly result oriented.
