Position Summary

Key role in Quality focused organization managing the maintenance and engineering team.  The Technical Director will be the technical liaison between the Engineering and Operations groups.

 

Position Responsibilities

 

Lead the day to day operations of the Maintenance Department 

Manage all plant engineering resources.

Manage plant capital budget and insure that plant capital spending responsibility.

Establish and maintain a continuous improvement process in the department

Work in partnership with plant level and corporate leadership and management.

 

Education and technical expertise:

 

Bachelor’s degree minimum, in an Engineering discipline

Project Management experience in a high speed, high volume food, beverage or cpg manufacturing environment. 

Strong leadership and development skills and experience and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Previous budgetary management responsibility.

Ability to comfortably and successfully manage multiple projects in a team focused environment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

 

Successful candidate will be comfortable working directly with senior management, multiple departments and business units, and plant personnel.

Strong computer skills and related technical and software savvy.

Current, leading edge, technical and industry knowledge and expertise.
