Senior Technician Product Safety Testing

 

Responsibilities:



Responsible for logistics of equipment to be tested, which includes shipping and receiving.
Responsible for lab resources which include ordering of new equipment and test fixturesResponsible for overseeing all testing done in the lab including Consumer Products, Industrial and Electrical Testing. Must be able to perform technician duties if required.
Photo Documentation.Conduct laboratory tests as required.Generate computer generated test data.Manage equipment calibrations.Maintain proficiency with the latest lab and testing procedures.Keep abreast of present and future Product Safety requirements, test procedures, instrumentation, technology and TÜV Product Service Engineering service capabilities by internal testing sessions, external seminars and reading technical articles.

 

Qualifications and Skills:


Associates Degree Electronics.
Minimum 5 years job related experience.Working knowledge of Word for Windows and Excel.ISO 17025 knowledge a plus.
