Position Title:                    Territory Sales Manager

 

Location:           Minneapolis, MN (covers entire state of MN)

 

Salary:                           Excellent Base Salary and Generous bonus

 

Successful consumer products company seeks relational sales professional to manage territory covering entire state of Minnesota.  Ability to develop and manage relationships is more desirable than strong closing skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Design and develop strong comprehensive sales and marketing plans for top accounts

 

Responsible to accurately forecast by product mix on an annual basis with the foresight, ability, and knowledge to change the forecast depending on the current market

 

Responsible for “driving the business” on a proactive basis

 

Expected and responsible to forge and develop strong relationships

 

Must demonstrate the ability to influence “CEO’s” during sales calls

 

Ability to develop and effectively present materials to large groups.

 

Strong leadership and Interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work well with others, be a leader and motivate people

 

Ability to organize and prioritize based on council plans

 

Very positive and professional written and verbal communication skills

 

Proficient in computer skills; Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.

 

Open minded, innovative and self‑motivated. The ability to be flexible and adapt to market and company changes

 

Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and formulate strong, creative territory plans based on current needs

 

Responsible for maintaining accounts receivable within the territory.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

College degree with a minimum of 5+ years sales experience

Ability to travel as necessary  – based on personal management of the territory

Manage a sales territory by a budget and manage the business based on profitability
