This position requires excellent presentation skills, strong documentation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. I.  Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Training Manager, the responsibility of the Training Coordinator is to interact and build successful relationships with employees and management.  Evaluate the trainees for effectiveness of training and individual employee growth. 

 

  II.  Essential Functions

·  Coordinate OJT training meetings and evaluate applicable outside training resources.

·  Continually evaluate procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update program as needed.

·  Ability to assess needs related practices, procedures, produce training programs and materials to target these needs.

·  Leadership skills to effectively direct trainees while in a training class environment and ability to properly evaluate comprehension and application of subject material.

·  The ability to direct and handle multiple tasks. 

·  Possess practical and technical skills as well as the ability to communicate the department’s objectives in a clear and persuasive manner is essential. 

·  The ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and ability to resolve conflict with minimal assistance is required.

·  Consults with management and other organizational members to gain knowledge of developmental needs make recommendations to address those needs and gains agreement regarding the implementation of the recommendations. 

·  This position requires initiative, motivation, creativity and ability to understand many areas of expertise

·  The training area is one of constant change. This position must be able to react positively to these developments and help lead the way forward to include new developments in training targeted to both new and existing employees

 

 III.  Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Five to seven years of Food industry experience required.

• Knowledge of Windows, Power Point, Word and Excel or similar programs required.

• Training experience preferred.

• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
