Utility Worker

Installation/Maintenance/Repair   Job Description Fisher-Price Character Brands is located in bustling downtown Manhattan. Our offices cover two floors in the Barnes & Noble Building on 6th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. This area is also known as the Chelsea District or the Toy District and is the home of the International Toy Fair. PRIMARY DUTIES:' Responsible for maintaining physical facilities, adjoining grounds and building machines and equipment.' Responsible for set-up of conference rooms. Must be able to move machines, office furniture and other equipment used for set-ups.' Responsible for disposing all waste materials.' Complete minor repairs on facilities machines and equipment.' May assist electrician and building mechanics.' Perform deliveries and pick-ups.' Serve as backup for mailroom personnel and Copy Services Technician when needed.' Responsible for office setups and reading layouts.' Delivery and pickup facilities supplies and materials.' Perform other tasks as assigned. SKILLS:' Ability to work in elevated and/or confined spaces and unfavorable weather conditions.' Must be able to adhere to extended periods of lifting heavy objects and handling or working with chemicals or compounds.' Familiar with movable office modular systems.' Knowledge of office safety procedures and equipment.' Must be able to work proportional share of overtime on short noticeEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:' High School education or equivalent.'
