Wal-Mart Replenishment Planner

Wilton Products, Inc., a leading designer and marketer of cake decorating, housewares, crafts and home décor products has a new opportunity for a Mass Merchandise Forecaster in their Inventory department located in our corporate headquarters in Woodridge, IL. Responsibilities:

This role will collaborate with Sales Partners and Wal-Mart Replenishment to develop forecasts based on trends, statistics, and marketing analysis to support planning and acquisition of inventory.  You will work in our forecasting system to develop and adjust forecasts by sku.  Also, you will be responsible for monitoring forecast accuracy, store in-stock levels, and PO lead time performance for items in Wal-Mart Retail link. You will recommend forecast and seasonal profile changes with replenishment and plan for the demand in our internal system.  Collaboration with procurement to fill Wal-Mart replenishment and promo orders is essential.

 

Requirements:

· 2-4 Years in Forecasting, Buying, or Planning in a consumer product, retail manufacturing or retail environment

· Over 2 years Wal-Mart Retail link experience and CPFR

· Strong analytical and communication skills

· Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, and email skills

· Bachelor degree in Operations, Category Management, Finance, or Marketing

· Prior experience and/ or knowledge of major Forecasting Systems.  JDE experience is highly preferred
