Warehouse Lead

POSITION TYPE: Full Time, Temporary/Contract/ProjectJOB CATEGORY: Logistics/TransportationEDUCATION LEVEL: High School or equivalent Warehouse Lead We are seeking a candidat that can perform efficient Receiving Process - Daily receiving and allocating to system build kits. Details include - Ensure each PO receipt has a hard copy packing slip and daily receiving transactions. ID receiving variants to buyers each day until resolved (no PO or no packing slips for example). Candidate will be handling recycling, cleaning cage and staging areas daily. Must make sure that clean and recycle bin is emptied each night; and ensure there are no safety hazards due to de-trash of ineffective materials storage. Candidate will be required to clean up before leaving at end of each shift. Consolidating inventory to enhance storage space, providing support for allocations and receiving as needed. If candidate had PC Skills (Visio, power point to develop BKM's) this would be a huge plus.  Cycle Counts - Perform daily cycle counts Monday -Thursday - resolve and input data by Friday of each weekly- investigates/validates discrepancy as needed. Archive hard copies weekly.  Candidate will be in charge of claim Process and manage the reclaim barrels and ensure we comply with company guidelines for effective scrap disposition. This person may be asked to develop procedures as BKM's change.  Skills to Match: Microsoft Office: Effective PC skills, Windows, Navigate internet, some experience with Excel and, Word, PC application knowledge of Visio® flow charting software or PowerPoint® is nice to have but not critical. Business Process: proven experience in maintaining order (receiving, consolidating, allocating) with ABC inventory class items (receiving, consolidating, allocating) Skills: Must be able to manage multiple duties simultaneously in an environment where priority changes happen daily; self-motivated high energy and flexible with regards to multiple duties, changing priorities (needs to be able to re-prioritize schedule on short notice). Must be able to consistently follow through on standard proven processes and be a team player. Electronics: a through knowledge of electronic components for Intel Servers and Desktop systems is nice to have. Education and Training: Pallet Jack Operation certification Material Handling: Must be able to practice safe/effective materials handling methods and lift up to 35 lbs throughout daily inventory movements.
