Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose: Supervision of the receiving and line-feed departments, inventory, accurate scanning, inventory balances and assisting the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Directing the activity of all receiving and line-feed warehouse employees to assure effective labor balancing, high level of internal-customer service, company and customer asset safeguarding, and accurate timely reporting of inventory and related transactions. Assure coordination of inventory transfers and physical inventories.
Provide specific electronic reports (metrics); as required
Train/cross-train warehouse associates on warehouse GMPs, OSHA and other safety regulations, and security of assets.
Maintain safety, security, warehouse GMPs and OSHA compliance
Qualifications: Four year degree in business, computer science or related field preferred.  Will consider two year degree plus two years supervisory experience in food warehousing, distribution and inventory control i.e. operations.  Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Excellent skills in the areas of teamwork, decision making, relationship building, coaching and motivating employees
