We are currently seeking applicants for two ANCOC Instructors, Fort Benning, GA NCO Academy.Full BenefitsOpen Date: 31 Mar 08Close Date: TBDPlease apply on our website at www.eaglegroupint.com * To perform small group instruction for the Maneuver Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course (ANCOC) Programs of Instruction (POIs) IAW training loads as scheduled in the ATRRS for up to 20 students in MOSs 11B, 11C, 19D, 19K. The Contractor shall perform administrative and management functions associated with classroom instruction. Contractor personnel assigned to this task shall have graduated from the Army Instructor Training Course and be a Maneuver ANCOC graduate.* Required to attend and pass the following instructor certification courses / measures if not already certified in these areas and/or as directed by the local NCOA Leadership.1) Instructor Training Course (ITC)2) Small Group Instructor Training Course (SGITC)3) Tactics Certification Course (TCC)4) Combat Lifesaver Course5) Serve as an AI under the mentorship of a certified instructor in Maneuver ANCOC6) Pass initial instructor evaluation board7) Attend instructor sustainment training during cycle breaks* Required to assist in and/or conduct the following administrative procedures:1) Student in-processing procedures.2) Initial briefings to newly assigned classes.3) Prepare, consolidate, and maintain student academic records throughout the course.4) Prepare Academic Evaluation Reports and Development Action Plans.5) Prepare, rehearse, and conduct graduations.6) Conduct or participate in end of course AARs, sensing sessions, surveys, and critiques.7) Conduct end of course administrative close out procedures.8) Conduct initial counseling, performance counseling, and adverse counseling as necessary.* Shall perform the following during daily duties as small group instructor.1) Prepare classroom, instructional materials, student records folders, computers, equipment, and supplies to receive students and conduct the course.2) Administer and evaluate student practical applications, exercises, and examinations.3) Conduct lectures and explanation of course content.4) Facilitate student discussion of course subject material.5) Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of course content and provide examples.6) Coach, teach, and mentor students throughout the course.7) Be a positive role model to students.8) Conduct retraining and testing as needed.9) Review and update POI(s), instructional materials, student handouts, and references at least annually, or as directed by the Government.EDUCATION:Advanced Military Schools preferred or military studies oriented focus.EXPERIENCE:Pre-Requisites are as follows:1. US Army Master Sergeant (E-8) or above2. Retired from active duty of 18 months or less from date of application3. Held MOS 11Z at retirement4. ANCOC graduate5. Minimum 2 years as a Platoon Sergeant in Brigade Combat Team6. Minimum 1 year deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan in a Platoon Sergeant position.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook is plus.
