The Gateway Advising Center advises approximately 3,000 students, a cohort comprised of Freshmen, Continuing and Transfer students who have not yet decided on a major or who are fulfilling eligibility requirements for entry into specialized programs. • Advising students about academic standards, policies and programs available to facilitate their success.
• Assisting the Coordinator of Advising and Director in developing and implementing retention strategies for at-risk students.
• Maintaining and tracking general and confidential student records.
• Attending meetings and performing other related duties as assigned.
