* Prospects via the telephone to uncover potential customers of Pearson School Systems' solutions.
* Responsible for following up on leads generated from trade shows and other marketing-related activities.
* Gathers specific, relevant information about target accounts for purposes of competitive intelligence.
* Maintains records of all sales interactions with customers and internal departments using a CRM (SF.com) and other tools.
* Assists with department projects as assigned.
* Goal is to develop into Sales Rep

Percentage of Time Per Duties:
* 50% Places outbound calls to solicit sales from existing install base lists and new account lists
* 25% Maintains records of all sales interactions using SF.com
* 25% Develops product knowledge and conducts Daily Demonstrations
* 5% Participates in team meetings and professional development activities Education & Experience: Experience:
* Excellent communications, interpersonal and telephone skills.
* Customer service or tele-sales experience is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may need additional training in skills to fulfill the basic responsibilities of the position.
* Basic knowledge of company's products presents an advantage.
* Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products required.
* Fundamental understanding of information technology is a plus.
